This brings back so many memories. I miss these days. :( I quit right before the release of Ulduar, because it only took me a month or two into the new expansion to realize the game had gone to crap. My brother renewed his subscription last month, and only played for two weeks because he was utterly bored. I miss the old WoW... but I can't wait for Guild Wars 2!

Fuck I wish i was a night elf. It sucks because between the ages of 11 and late 14 I believed in God, I really thought there was a heaven. But now I aged and matured and became more sophisticated and realized that there is no heaven. Heaven to me was the only way that I could live my dreams, I thought "God" would let me do anything I wanted haha, let me make my own WoW and live as a Night Elf. But now I realize that Religion is bogus, fuck life.

@texanbamf and the 2 first years was the best of em all. sadly, gearscore, achievements and hardcore guilds ruined the whole game in just a matter of weeks. dont know about anyone else but i fell like its a childs game now. its all so easy and it keeps on coming
I remember making my first toon, NE rogue, I'd heard my brothers friends talking about how they'd stay up for hours farming. So I farmed spiders for like 20 hours in total, putting myself at a hefty 10 gold XD. Those were the days, the glory days, this music is branded into my heart, though I may be an 80 now with my full wrathful pvp gear and my full sanctified pve gear, I love to come back to teldrassil and explore around, finding the best tree, or even killing a few spiders for a venom sack.
@Saharoko there used to be this mysterious wonderous feeling when you explore the world and the intense world pvp, but now everyone just skip those best moments
My very first impression ever was this music while I learned how to play. I found it rather meditative in some way but at the same time epic and mysterious. May the cataclysm stay away from this area...

@qHalo it's just fun to play. What exactly do you want to know about it? I just love how it has it's own story line in it. Everyone complains about the graphics not being like, PS3 graphics, but what do you expect with an MMORPG? I don't find the graphics half bad, anyways. Plus I just love the design that goes into the world, and how you have so many options on what you want to be. Plus they have such fun stuff in it other than just the main purpose of the game.

Wow is not dead, people just need to stop grinding to 80 as fast as they can and worrying about fucking gearscore. i understand that people want to get the best items in the game right away only because people get them so quickly these days, cataclysm should not be thought of as an expansion, but as a new universe. things are changing in cata, and we should consider this a change opportunity for players as well.

I am saying people are so focused on the mechanics of the game and numbers and figures, that lore and storyline and character background are being ignored. Cataclysm will change wow like any other expansion, but I am hoping that people will be focused on Azeroth being torn asunder rather than what new lv300 2 handed sword drops. ya know?

I was always the night elf huntress, I used to proper enjoy a game of wow but it's just as ArctanThardus said, the atmosphere is dead and everyone's just really snarky to everyone else who is at a lower level.
Man it was tough when you were like lvl 5 and the 80's would ride by on their cool mouns lolz But the music the game was - thankfully - gorgeous.

You're right! Wow has lost its original purpose. Which is not really intended to play all the time day and night. you need to enjoy the game, have fun with my friends all the time and not get better and better gear and better skills. I remember when I Played a long time ago. I fell in love with the world. But then I started to play with my friends. Then it started! You need to constantly be better and better. It took a little while and I noticed that surely this makes no sense. I quit.
ok for you guys newbies are back in many servers you can join a lot of new players again and do everything (not really) like the old times but newer :D 1 server i know that has this is trollbane (because most severs crash or ppl get hacked {no idea how but the lose crap} and move to the other server meaning they have to make a new character :D {for those that had this happen D:}) so join WoW

I dont understand how people can choose horde. I dont care which faction is the best. I care which I enjoy the most, and I definately enjoy alli more. I love the gnome race and dun morogh, elwynn forest, teldrassil, westfall and all the races, places for alli! I cant get enough of them

I really wanna start up wow everything about it seems soo Amazing but when i watch videos on the game its like WTF So much shit is going on... and other great MMORPG games are about to come out Such as star wars the old republic and Guild Wars 2. Can anybody provide me Why i should start up this game ! So far no one has stood up =/

@qHalo you should start wow because it is just simply addicting, the enviornments are great as is everything else. and it is also one of the few games that you can find a friendly community always willing to help. yes i kno its hard to believe there is a friendly gaming community

@qHalo it's just fun to play. What exactly do you want to know about it? I just love how it has it's own story line in it. Everyone complains about the graphics not being like, PS3 graphics, but what do you expect with an MMORPG? I don't find the graphics half bad, anyways. Plus I just love the design that goes into the world, and how you have so many options on what you want to be. Plus they have such fun stuff in it other than just the main purpose of the game.

I remember when I started my very first character ever, a night elf hunter and I had no idea how to play or what to do. I was really sick and all I did was play this game, hearing this music. now sometimes I go back and run around listening to the music. teldrassil is so relaxing lol.

I have lvl 80 night elf and I did anything what can be done in wow with him. I remember when i needed low level area herbs and i came to darnassus and then went out in Teldrassil........ I spent whole day running around just listening to this beautiful theme..Damn so much memories...Blizzard really know how to make vid games music

started in 2005 as night elf hunter this music my brain went all out drugged, i love this soundtrack the game was the best i'v ever played (wow vanilla) then TBC come it was still cool then WOTLK and the game went shity, way to easy..if i could, i would go back in time playing orginal wow. Fuck WOTLK, TBC ur OK, Vanilla WoW best Ever.

Wow is not dead, people just need to stop grinding to 80 as fast as they can and worrying about fucking gearscore. i understand that people want to get the best items in the game right away only because people get them so quickly these days, cataclysm should not be thought of as an expansion, but as a new universe. things are changing in cata, and we should consider this a change opportunity for players as well.

@Alexanderstuve I think you misunderstand what I'm getting at. I am saying people are so focused on the mechanics of the game and numbers and figures, that lore and storyline and character background are being ignored. Cataclysm will change wow like any other expansion, but I am hoping that people will be focused on Azeroth being torn asunder rather than what new lv300 2 handed sword drops. ya know?

@swishtrack @xCr0nus I have to agree, been playing wow since jahuary of 2006 and it has never been so quiet in trade as low populated in SW. i tried both low populated KulTiras and overcrowded (in past) Silvermoon servrrs. The game is dead :(

I was always the night elf huntress, I used to proper enjoy a game of wow but it's just as ArctanThardus said, the atmosphere is dead and everyone's just really snarky to everyone else who is at a lower level.
Man it was tough when you were like lvl 5 and the 80's would ride by on their cool mouns lolz But the music the game was - thankfully - gorgeous.

You're right! Wow has lost its original purpose. Which is not really intended to play all the time day and night. you need to enjoy the game, have fun with my friends all the time and not get better and better gear and better skills. I remember when I Played a long time ago. I fell in love with the world. But then I started to play with my friends. Then it started! You need to constantly be better and better. It took a little while and I noticed that surely this makes no sense. I quit.

ok for you guys newbies are back in many servers you can join a lot of new players again and do everything (not really) like the old times but newer :D 1 server i know that has this is trollbane (because most severs crash or ppl get hacked {no idea how but the lose crap} and move to the other server meaning they have to make a new character :D {for those that had this happen D:}) so join WoW
