I lookd this video up (searched for Sid Caesar) because I saw "Pioneers of Television - Variety Shows" on PBS & wish they'd done the whole show just on Show of Shows. In case you're a Sid Caesar fan & didn't know, there's a movie called "My Favorite Yeat" which is a thinly veiled telling of Erroll Flynn showing up on "Your Show of Shows" & has some revealing glimpses of what's said to be Caesar's ("King Kaiser's) temperament.
Look at how Imogene Coca has to turn her face away from the camera to contain her laughter. Caesar said that neither one of them expected to be drenched like that.

The audio is out of sync with the video! Can't something be done about this? I love this sketch.

To add to cyntiacher, Caesar's comment cracks Coca up but he remains stoic. He disliked laughing at the material onstage.
