  • i dont really get the musical spelling bee combo...

  • It's the original broadway cast............idiots

  • is this the original cast?

  • i swear i get goosebumps every single time i hear this song, and always at the 3-part harmony toward the end. this is such an incredible piece of music.

  • this song IS beautiful but they could have gotten WAY better singers. the whole time they were shouting and wailing. it wasnt pretty listening.

  • dang he cracked pretty bad

  • before i realized it was a musical i was like wtf fail hahaha gd song though

  • ...because it's a musical?!

  • this is on of my favorite songs ever on broadway!

  • What are you talking about?? They didn't do anything wrong. I've seen this musical more than 3 times and I see nothing different. So either you're really critcizing or just have no clue about musicals. Not to be rude or anything :\.

  • Well obviously you can't tell a good song from a bad song, this song s absolutely BEAUTIFUL,the best song in the show i do believe, the harmonies are fantastic, the parts were cast brilliantly, and the song itself is just written wonderfuly, so yikes, just don't judge musicals again

  • NOT A GOOD SONG??? if you aren't a musical fan then don't speak about stuff you don't know about. you look petty and stupid.

  • Who plays Olive here? Is this OBC? I recognize Mitch and Ms. P-whats her face, but Olive looks dif'rnt.

  • Yeah. The Olive is Celia Keenan-Bolger from the OBC. :]

  • I cried when I saw this song in the show in NYC. Everytime I hear this song I cry now. GREAT SONG! GREAT SHOW!

  • Oh thats a good one...

  • Celia's like... Incredible. And adorable. Notice the talking person finally shuts up for the sentimental video.

  • What the hell????

  • i loooove this song so much. this performance wasnt their best though.

  • mucho talent

i'd love to see this show again.

  • This show was phenomenal.

  • Ohhh... Everytime the character of Olive (I should learn her name...) would say "Mama, Mama, Mama," I about got tears in my eyes. Yesyesyes, in my opinion, at least in her voice, Olive's singer is the image of sheer perfection!!! LOVE! D<

  • Same goes for me! When I saw it on broadway, I was almost brought to tears when she was singing "Mama! Mama! Mama!" It's so sad! Great performance.

  • Oh, how pretty. <3

  • I dont think Lisa sounds her best, although she has a beautiful voice, but Celia is like...she can do no wrong in my eyes. Its so sad she left the show yesterday. I love Derrick as well, he is amazing.

  • this song is amazing...all their voices are outstanding..i love the 3 part harmony part...ohh man...it gives me chills each time i hear it

  • bad

  • hey! this is the BEST song!!!Ahhhhhh!!!

  • can u be more specific why dont u like it??

  • Derrick Baskin(Mitch) has an outstanding voice!!!!!!!!!

  • I was in tears when they performed this song in the show. I loved Spelling Bee, it was one of the funniest shows ever. Thanks for posting this

  • how can you not listen to this song and just want to go hug every kid in your life and tell them you love everything about them?? i was in tears when i saw this at the circle in ny.

  • Spelling Bee is a wonderful performance, I think.

and this is one of the best song in the play.

  • I saw the show in March from SRO, wasn't a big fan. We had these 3 cast members in--they were all amazing.

I didn't like the show at ALL when I saw it for the first time--this was the only song I liked. The rest of the show has grown on me though. Yay for Spelling Bee :-).

  • You could tell they felt awkward during this song. But that's okay because everything about Spelling Bee rocks ^____^

  • I LOVE SPELLING BEE AND THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I've seen the show two times (the second time because i wanted to see/hear this song in particular.) Lisa Howard (on the right) is one of the best actresses on Broadway, and has an incredible voice. Derrick Baskin has an outstanding voice. Celia Kennan-Bolger has a presence and a voice like no other. The six others in the cast are incomparable (i've even met Celia and Jose Llana.) In other words, this is a great show that everyone should see even if they hear a few mistakes in this video!
