I agree with most of what you said, but, the game industry will succeed only if people buy it. If the game is amazing, took 3 years to make, and only say 30k copies were sold world wide. 3 years to 30k copies is nothing. And the reason the game wasn't sold was the because of how hard it was to play, my point is that not everyone can be as good as others at a game and the developers have to adapt to the community to make it playable for others, not just people who are extremely skilled.
