One of my favorite Hindustani Classical music albums of all time -- both the Kalavati and the Maru Bihag are better to my ears than those by much more illustrious artistes.

I listened frist to this one when i was in grade eight in the album 50 great years of indian music and i was so captivated. This music is so good. I am grateful that someone uploaded it brings back old memories. Besides great composition.

This is Raag Kalawati.The cassette is available with MaruBihag on one side, it starts with "Kal Nahin aye" in vilambit (slow) and "Jagun main sari raina in drut (fast tempo). The other side has Kalawati "tan man dhan " and Mishra Khamaj Thumari "Kaun gali gayo sham". I have heard this long time ago on record player, simply great !! Please load Marubihag if anyone has it. @meena170 Thanks for sharing this update, I, in fact, am very fond of learning about the art of Raaga, all songs based on Raagas always take me to another world where I feel myself all alone and no one else beside.

I agree with Vismardolkar's comments, if possible please put "Maru bihag" raag as well... since my childhood i am listening this album.. no doubt she is great artist !
