  • As I said, I read the book.

  • This is actually not the way it happened in this case at all - read the book. They were led away quietly. It was the stepfather who gave them up; the mother wasn't there. There was no struggle & no chase. This has been exaggerated for dramatic reasons, like many things in this movie.

  • @routier1642 Where did you get your information from?

  • we white man are so mean...

i really apologize for that bad thing that happened around 1890-1960

  • thanks for uploading this. A very powerful scene about horrible events that took place in history.

many people on youtube are disputing the historical accuracy of the movie and Neville's actual intentions.

But regardless of that, the movie was made well, and these things somehow do keep happening among indigenous races throughout time all over the world: Children being taken away from their family and culture.

  • its such a sweet movie

  • Keven Rudd will be saying sorry soon:)

  • do anybody knows whats the name of a song that apeared in this movie , its like an aboriginal song, and were can i find it?

  • Peter Gabriel did the soundtrack to RPF - and he's a master with world music/ composition (truly gifted imho). I know the track "Cloudless", which can be found on the soundtrack to the film (called Long Walk Home) has aboriginal music in it. As do several of the other tracks. If you can find the cd, buy it - that's my recommendation. ;) It's a beautiful cd. *thumbs up*
