or u can just go to Data/big

copy the system.def in "big" and replace it it in data and boom u got 60 char slot without having to go through any of the frustrating shit

Guys the game creator changed the file location. It even tells you: "As of MUGEN 1.0, the default motif is defined in data/mugen1/system.def."

Go there and do the steps, it'll work trust me

I tried this and it doesnt work and then I try to get a new screen pack but there is never any screen pack that works....Ive tried dozens of them and they always seem to fail at somepoint somewhere....the only one that works is plain old MUGEn with like 10 character slots....and Ive already filled it up with characters!!!!! :O URRGH!!!

@KiteFlyingMe if you have a more newer version of mugen you might have in the Data folder Mugen 1. In there there is another couple files and open the system file in Mugen1 to have it work. if u use the normal one it has a note to use mugen1 folder

:o, I figured it out! After you create a shortcut and add r-big to the 'target', open Data ~> Big ~> System[def] - and change the Rows and Columns to 5-5, then open the Mungen from your created shortcut and....VOILA! You have a nice 60x60 slot that works! Good luck! :D

Guys i know why it doesn't work. some people just go right ahead in the first one they see but ur supposed to go in the Mugen1 file (if u have it) in Data. there will be another file of it but it will work. READ THE SCRIPT

IMPORTANT!!! If you have no screen pack, and you don't know how to put one on, and this isn't working for you, heres your problem. Go to the folder like he said, change that, than go to the folder, in that folder named "mugen1". And open that system one, and do that same thing and save it.

Not all the squares will fit so it's best to do about 5 rows of 4. If you go past 5 rows, you won't be able to see the bottom ones.

I figured it out for all you 1.0 RC5 people when you go "Mugen/Data" there should be a folder called "mugen1" so go into that and edit the system file in there... some reason there is like 3 system folders, but yeah try playing with that and it should work (again it should be "Mugen/Data/mugen1")
