I too am one of the proud and few who view this as being an all time nintendo classic. I'll never forget the time I finally beat this game. One life, no continues, no password, extremely challenging levels. To this day I'm not sure how I did it. lol
@babbler254 I never liked the NES version. But I did like the Game Boy Version. And best of all, The Game Boy version had a new feature: Password. Also The BackGround music on this video is only played in Level 1. Levels 2, 3, and 4 have different background music. The "Inside the well" BGM is no longer heard in the silver towers or the fourth level. Additional BGM were added (Such as Title theme, Introduction story, Shop theme, And Invintory theme).

Anyone notice that the music for the well in this game is the same as the Well of Fire theme in Nightmare Sphere?

For some reason... the sequel Doremi Fantasy uses sometimes this kind of music, with the same beat and tone. Just re-arranged well.
