You are totally awesome and inspiration to all that has CP. I do Have CP also. Nice that you post videos. I am not that courageous posting up videos like that. Subconscious how I am not able to speak well. I applause how brave you are in doing these videos. I be looking forward to more new vids from you.. You go girl Thanks.... Hope4CerebralPalsy....
I am a Direct service provider and I work with clients who mostly have been diagnosed with CP , but alot of what I do is to help provide Independence to my good friends, I have learned SO much about CP with the help of videos like these and not to mention to see such admiration and will is completely inspiring and it makes me glad I can work with such amazing individuals!
I am starting to see why she was so proud of that moment, and why it took her 2 years to reach that goal with this child.
Could you please comment back and tell the people on YouTube (and me) why you record these videos? I would like to know what your inspiration is to keep moving forward, and not giving up. How do you over come the frustration of your body not doing what you are telling it to do, or do you experience frustration anymore.
I have never seen any of the physical affects of Cerebral Palsy until watching this video. My mother used to work for UCP in NYC until I started elementary school, she has told me stories of her successes (and the not so successful stories). Her most proud moment was when she got a 6 year old to actually get food on a spoon and then into there mouth. As a child I never understood what the big deal was, and I never understood why she would cry every time show talked about that child.
