  • OMG! It's fucking shame! In 2010, I stayed in other hotel of LK Group, but no one has stolen my things there. After viewing this video, I wondered whether to stay in hotels LK again.

p.s. I really hope this bitch was fired in disgrace!

  • @14m3r0k I have stayed at the Dusit Thani Pattaya many times. I have often gone out forgetting to lock my safe leaving lots of valuables and tens of thousands of Thai baht in cash lying there, credit cards. travelers cheques, passport, the lot Cleaners never touch a thing, always report it to management and they come and lock the safe for me and leave a message in my room. Ok, It's a more expensive hotel. I was stupid to do this. Often did it two days in a row! Yes I'm a plonker!!!

  • ไม่รู้ว่ายังจะเก็บมันไว้อีกรึเปล่าน่ะคนแบบนี้

  • Why? She's lovely !!!

  • daam wtf never again Metropole

  • I think I need to invest in some similar surveillance equipment. Any tips?

  • DONT TRUST THAT YELLOW SHIT YOU FOOLS

  • After staying here quite recently all i can say is watch out for you're stuff.SOME of the maids are thieves here.My friend got completely wasted one night and left her earrings on the table .Next morning after breakfast realizing that she has done. Rushed back to her room to put them in the safe .Well they were gone after frantically searching she found them neatly placed in a corner well hidden from any view placed on a piece of paper.it was all prepped to take it later after you leave .

  • @pykota Im really sorry to hear that they still have a culture of stealing embedded in the hotel as it is a nice hotel in a good area....

  • @shonkyimp yes the hotel was very nice and the front staff was very helpful. The maids is left a lot to be desired .I hope i can come back but after witnessing their craftiness first hand ill try to avoid and try its sister hotels.Just wanted to thank you shonky if not for this video and warnings i think the earrings would be long gone.

  • @stanley2point ah shit...another wannabe internet tough guy. Try to learn how to read before you post inane comments...oh and know what your talking about would help too....have a nice day...

  • Thanks for the info. the Metropol L.K. is one of the most expensive hotels in Pattaya. One would (naively) expect better honest at a more expensive hotel. Just demonstrates the staff probably don't benefit from the higher room rates. I checked out the Met LK website prior to seeing this. I'm glad I didn't book it. I would ever book it now.

  • @comicus59 hi...Im not rying to take business from them...just be careful of your things when ur at a hotel. Anyway have a good time there...!

  • @comicus59

LOL LK Metropole expensive? Where do you stay Motel 6, tents in campgrounds, your car ...

  • Western Animals

  • @nnss485 sira ulo putang ina mo....ibumu pelacur...

  • @shonkyimp

    vg you

  • @nnss485 vg you??? very good you??? ...yes I am good! :D

  • Interesting. But must say most times the maids are good. Regardless where u go, Europe, US, Asia, S, America, etc, etc, if money lying around like that, it is bound to happen, even for 5/6/7 stars hotels. What matters is the threshold, how much will trigger the behaviour. Of course, that got something to do with the individual, but 1000 dong lying in a San Francisco hotel room probably will never attack any attention. LOL

But thanks again. We are staying there this December.

  • @roastpigeon thats true...wasnt trying to bait her tho...stripped all the money out of my bum bag and put it in the safe. Left behind the Vienamese Dong cos its not worth much. I was more interested in going drinking HAHAHA !!!

  • @nnss485 Are u speaking english?

  • European despicable dirty money is placed and does not want to steal

  • @nnss485 Ummmm was that english ur speaking???

Hey ...kalbo ....putang ina mo ....Putang putang putang ina mo !!!!......BUANG !!!!!

  • ok this is answered below but l will say again. Its a lawmate pv500 evo. I did tell management and no l didnt tell the police. I was on holiday l dont want trouble...

  • First, thanks for informing others of such incidents.

Second, what kind of hidden camera are you employing?

Finally, did you confront the hotel manager, showing him/her the video evidence? Did you contact the police?

  • l hope not. For me Bali is the worst...but lve been monitering my hotel room for 2 years now and this is my first blatant theft. I alwaz found thais extremely honest but maybe lm naive.

  • Classic :-)

  • How about posting some of the videos which were the REAL reason for having a hidden camera in the room ;-)

  • @videospattaya l would but ur mum is shy !

  • What alot of people dont realise is that if the situation had reversed then I would be in jail !!! There was an english guy about 10 years ago who got caught trying to cash a stolen travellers check...he got 7 years jail. Just recently an Australian woman got caught stealing a barmat and they wanted to jail her.Point is ...dont take whats not urs ...I work hard for my money and I dont want anyone to steal it...

  • The other video I have in Bali is at the vilarisi hotel. They broke into my bag which was chained to a chair, locked with its own personal bag lock and I had threaded a master combination lock through the 2 zippers. They broke in and stole from it !!!

Then they gave me a voucher in compensation to stay there again.Stupidly I did and thus the second video. I looked through a travel website and there are other warnings for the vilarisi. The videos I post are RARE,NOT COMMON !!!

  • @shonkyimp Thank u guy!

  • The whole reason I put this video here was because I WARNED her I knew things were going missing. She stole 2 more times then went thru my draws and cupboards. It's not my intention to ensnare cleaners.I have other videos in other hotels of inappropriate behaviour but I just warned them and they didnt do it again. Everyone deserves a chance.Even a thief I suppose...but if you steal off me twice I will post it here and I will leave it here and name the hotel.

  • What happened to the bitch? did she get the monkeyhouse?

  • Tnx buddy for placing this clip,we were going to stay at the Lkmetropol now in August but will cancel.I hope the old bag will get a good workover at the monkeyhouse where she belongs.I will buy this camera for our next stay/Cheers

  • the young girl is taking her drink in the GUESTS room and she is sitting on the chair from the GUEST - quite already more than enough also to kick her too.

  • @michamachi0815 ...well Im not sure about that. She's honest...I wanted to see if she was a thief but she picked the money up and put it back.I wish I had posted the video I had of that but I deleted it...

  • @shonkyimp ...I think you sound reasonable and very friendly, perhaps more than some deserve... but nice to hear that you take it this way...

  • april??? Management told me she was only working there for 2 weeks at the end of june!

  • @shonkyimp Tnx buddy for placing this clip,we were going to stay at the Lkmetropol in august but now changed our minds. You did the right thing and I hope the simple thief get a good workover.

  • it wasnt the young girl, just the old lady. The young girl is honest and never did anything wrong. She's honest.

  • Also the way the fat old woman is telling the other girl that she got only shitty vietnam money worth only a bath (that is what she is telling her in thai about the just stolen money...) is revealing that the young girl might not be really so innocent too. And the young girl is only using the GUESTS furnitures, but not cleaning them....so a real "good" girl too, but none I hope to see when I pay for a hotel...

  • Fook I know these 2 gals I stayed in April and June and left them 100 baht on the pillow every day as a tip no wonder they always had a smile on there faces... I won't be staying there in future , I thought my pocket case was going quick I used to leave it lying around after a nite out and leave to go to the pool in the morning now I know were a lot of small notes went... Send it to the management, thanks for posting I won't be back.

  • Your right!!! HAHAHAHA!!!

  • The sound of their laughter as they sized up your dong was classic.

  • If u type in Lawmate in ebay u should find one...

  • Everyone if ur interested its a Lawmate PV500 Evo camera with a High deinition buttonhole cam u have to buy seperately...I dont sell them I just use them....Best I could find and the most versatile. You can put movies onto them them plug them into ur tv and watch movies. It holds up to a 32gb sdhc card... the camera used here is a Lipstick 470 line camera which I sometimes mount on my motorcycle helmet to film as I drive around. These setups are expensive though and u can buy cheap ones on ebay!

  • You're cool! Sorry to hear that but it served her right. :)

  • I too am interested in the model of camera used.

I had £42 stolen by a cleaner from a cheap hotel in Bangkok (Orchid Place Sukhumvit soi 6).

I reported it to management and they promised to review their staffing, but added the solution was not to leave valuables in the room. Unfortunately, i had become too complacent staying in cheap hotels with honest staff. Merely putting stuff out of sight to offset temptation....whereas the Orchid Place cleaner actually dug my bag out of a cupboard.

  • @nanaplaza1 Hi, found travel clock/hidden camera on ebay. Won't load onto this, but search ebay.

  • @Graham123xyz Try typing in lawmate pv500....and its an Evo HD model...No I dont sell them or endorse them this just happens to be the best I could find.

  • Can you share what type of video cam you used? Is it small enough for them not to found out or even steal it. I might buying that kind of video cam since I am a frequent traveler on business.

  • The old lady got fired.Just found out.The young girl kept her job and rightfully so she was NOT involved.I tried to set her up and she just put the money back on the table.Nice girl and very typical of Thai people who I find honest. This hotel is a good hotel.Every big hotel has theives working for them. They cant stop it.Just be careful thats all Im saying.

  • The safe is in the cupboard .The angle of the camera in the first video is to see what they do if they try to go into that cupboard. Before u post anything more I will let u know that I spend half my life travelling and staying in hotels.I have other videos of staff stealing but have not really done anything with them.I have one video where they were breaking into my locked suitcase. After that I bought the personal safe and upgraded my camera. They broke into the suitcase in less than 1 min

  • Nothing happened to her as far as I know.My valuables ARE in the safe. I also have them inside another personal safe that I carry with me.Unfortunately the room safes are not safe and I know of cases where the staff have opened those as well.Thats why I have the motion detector camera on the room and safe.I leave the small money there so I know whether to check the video straight away.

  • did she get fired, did you get your money back? and next time try to put all your valuables in the safe

  • During the past two weeks, reports of thefts have risen dramatically. Thai's as well as farangs are also targets. The sole reason for this sudden crime rate increase is world cup gambling debts. (Thai's are compulsive inexperienced gamblers)

Fortunately we have excellent and trustworthy maids and security staff, so no reports of theft or trouble at Pattaya Garden Apartments.

  • Thailand is a great place with friendly honest people. This video is NOT indicative of Thailand. This is the first time I have ever really had trouble with any hotel in Thailand and this video is not meant to disrespect Thailand. Unfortunately human nature is what it is and greed can prevail in any race and any country. However she just happened to get caught.

  • @shonkyimp for each stealer caught on vieo there are 1000 never captured in a footage...

personally I experienced twice episodes of theft in HOTEL in thailand, the first at White Inn (cash, credit card+atm) and the second at Maxxplace (notebook).

another notebook + cellphone and cash and items damaged while living at private house in Naklua, 3 raids within 4 months..

This video IS indicative of Thailand.

  • The young girl on the right is honest and never stole anything. The only reason she is there is because if u look closely u can see the old lady is trying to teach her what to do.

  • What I expect is for the cleaner to show respect when they come to a room I paid for to do their job.I told management but after the old lady stole the first money I confronted her and told her I knew money had gone missing. The result was 4mins later, after I entered the elavator, she went to the room and stole more money.

Management did nothing thus the posting here as for the money it was small money I keep for taxi fares from individual countries.

  • If you leave stuff lying about what do you expect? Pesumably you had a safe in the room or at least a lockable suitcase. Did you report the theft? What was the outcome?

  • @LBlover16 I expect them NOT to steal my belongings that's what I expect !!! Most of my valuables ARE in the safe...she just stole some Vietnamese Dong...

I always tip at the end of my vacation not every day.....

  • Ohohohohohohoh nice hotel maid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you a investigator private?
