this is real (well idk if HIS is real but this technology exists) they make overlays that you just stick on top of the lcd screen then just calibrate it (its like a smart board but instead of a projector thers the lcd)

Sorry. The software is a prototype and it's not available to download. This demo shows that it's possible to do a cheaper touch screen without using wiimote but with the same principle. I used only things that I have already in my home. ;-)

How did you do it?

I use the same principle of the wiimode ir pen toochscreen, but in this case I used a small BW video camera (you can see it on the right of the video fixed with red tape). The video camera image is filtered with a IR Filter (photograph negative) and the processing is made using 2 micro controllers to get 50fps processing. The flowing processing is made on PC. I build i it to see if a normal video PAL camera with 768x288 res is capable of doing this application. Later I will post all the details
