  • Wow, I love this!! I do this stuff too.. [polymer clay] I made a dragon bust.. I so want to do the whole dragon like this!! You really help me by showing the armature part!! Will you take a look at the Green Dragon I made? Let me know if its any good? Subbing and Thumbs Up!!

  • @TheBroodingTom Hi, I'm glad you found it helpful. Your Dragon is wonderful, I also love your aliens :). My dragon was not very big about 10cm in height . If you want to make a larger one I would suggest you make a stronger armature for the wings using for example a wire mesh.Happy sculpting!!

  • Incredible work! I think Cernit brand might make for stronger wings but Fimo is pretty good too. I'm in awe of your talent.

  • @ChibiChula

Thankyou very much :)) I have never used Cernit, it's not easily available in my area, but I would like to try it some time since I know many artists like it for it's strength.

  • Great job!

  • Thankyou, he was fun to make.

  • this is fabulous. weren't the wings really brittle after you baked it?

  • Thankyou for your comment. No the wings were not too bad since I used Fimo, which is one of the strongest polymer clays. Although for larger dragons and for my gargoyle I use a wire mesh armature.

  • Superbe dragon.
