  • how?

  • do you mean if you only had 2 presets that you were using, if there was a way to just access only those 2 plus manual without having to scroll through 3 & 4? if so, then no you can't. but it really isn't hard to get back to certain presets, especially if you have an external tap tempo.

  • hello..i just bougth a dd20..is there a way I coul only use 3 presets;manual;memory 1 y memory 2.. withoit using 3 and 4?

  • You can't really move back to the previous preset. But you can olnly use the manual and first 2 presets... taht should not be a problem. I hope this helps. Peace, -G

  • nice tone !!!

  • what kind of guitar is he using? is it a peavey exp generation?

  • It's a Tyler.

  • tyler mongoose special

  • I've got an RT-20 on the way. I'm just wondering how it will sound on subtle settings to fatten up solos. None of the demos seem to show how it works for this application.

  • is the rt-20 really worth it?

cus ive been debating if i should get one or not but im afraid im not gonna use it a lot.

  • I think it is....I too did not know if I would use it much but bought it anyway and now I hardly ever turn it off, there's so much you can do with this pedal it's amazing!

    Boss ROCKS!

  • I know I'd use it quite often, but I wonder if it's worth the substantial amount of extra money over the Line6 RotoMachine...

  • Well with the Roto-Machine you don't have to use as much space in your board which is something to keep in mind also.

  • Yeah, what I meant was, what are the advantages of paying extra for the BOSS? I know the Line6 doesn't have a mix knob, giving it a set volume at all times. And it doesn't have the Univibe setting. But from what I've gathered as far as sound goes, both are great. So I was just wondering if there are some less obvious factors/functions that make the BOSS worth the extra money (and space). Not asking you in particular, just looking for opinions.

  • I have the Line 6 Rotomachine, and I think it sounds as good or better than the RT20. The drive knob has a much wider range.

I've only had two problems with it: 1) with the Vox AC30 model on my PODXT Live, it has some very shrill highs, and 2) I would like it to have a mix and a tone control.

I think with the RT20 you're paying a lot for that nifty little rotary display, when the blinking LED on the Rotomachine is sufficient.
