@NoxDeadly points were unnecesary, but at the end of the day I think Khan didn't deserve the win, he continues to disappoint. There is no reason why Khan should have lost even with the 2 points taken especially because of the first round 10-8 round.

I can't agree with people criticising the referee at all! Khan was shown to not be able to handle Peterson on the inside, he struggled getting away and finding any room to work his jab or combinations .. Great pressure fighting from Peterson! The only way Khan could find room was by pushing away! I also kept noticing him grabbing and then looking at the ref as if to say "shout break, jump in, move him back for me!" .. Great win by Peterson, disappointment for Khan.

I thought the ref did a great job. Kahn was pushing, holding peterson's head down, and running excessively. Kahn was exposed as having no inside game and used illegal, ugly tactics to avoid fighting there. HBO once again showed their true colors. Lampley, in particular, is scum. Peterson would light Kanh up to the body with meanigful shots and Lampley didn't say shit. Kahn would land one punch and he would go nuts. Peterson won this fight hands down IMO. Great fight except for the bias from HBO.

thanks for mentioning the trainer bit...It kinda freaked me out a little bit when i saw it during the fight...but you can tell lamont looks kinda lackadaisical...I guess he needs that motivation...and Khan is the opposite...too excited needs to be calmed down

It was an ugly, ugly fight for me.

The ref was downright HORRIBLE. He didn't get in between the fighters during the clinch. I saw enough of Khan letting go and Peterson immediately pouncing at him that I could understand why he was pushing. The ref inadequately protected the fighters after they separate.

It wasn't as much a robbery as a ref making himself part of the fight.

Khan threw more punches but they both landed abt the same. Lamonts shots were better, good defense. Khan was pushing and holding too much preventing lamont to box back..not fair..he was warned..it was pro boxing.

The points where needed for this fight . Khan was warned every rd at least 3x for pushing,clinching and putting Peterson n a headlock. You think that's okay? The ref was great he didn't break then every-time they clinched he told them fight out

Nice vid man. And I agree the Referee was wrong to give the 2 pt deduction. Obviously he wanted to please the crowd.

Anyway i'm a brit, i'm a huge Khan fan but i admit Khan was friggin awful tonight. I mean he almost wants to prove he's able to take a punch and let lamont hit him repeatedly. Re-match in Vegas, it's happening. =P

I think the two points were 100% acurate, if you watch the fight again you'll see Khan pushing, elbowing, ect. This is the kind of fights that make boxing credible.

im from DC and i gotta say, wow PETERSON's life story/grit/heart and huge upset tonight makes HIM the man of the hour. step side man in the white house LOL. im happy for him not so much for his win (that's great) but for the fact that he will not get big money for a rematch or other title fights. i thot Khan would win but i tuned in because i didn't want to hear Peterson retiring without any money, esp given his heartfelt gritty story
