  • Du caralho!!!! (in portuguese)

    Wonderfull!!!! (in english)

  • Man could Freddie ever belt out some notes. One of my favorite exhibitions of Queen's true talent. Thanks for posting this stupendous song. One of the best band in the history of the world.

  • The best song from Queen, on my opinion:-)

  • for high pitch voiced people the hardest part of this song starts from "loves such an old fashioned word............" even rodger taylor says it was too low for him.

  • That was the genius of Freddie's vocal ability.

He had enormous vocal range! :)

  • as soon as you hearhis voice you know how powerful it is.

  • He can sing with fullness and power in a lower register AND a higher register most males can't touch on their best days...

It's funny to think of notes being too low etc. for someone like Mr. Taylor but yeah, everyone has a different range and his goes quite high but maybe he can't sing mid range with the fullness that is EASY for Freddie (and David Bowie -- though Bowie can't go nearly as high as either member of Queen). Personally, I'm in awe of how high Freddie can reach..

  • yep.i admit for 17 i have a very high pitched voice in order for me to almost get that high as freddie did.i think everyone can sing.just they need to sing in tune.some people are gifted for singing and freddie was no different.

  • I believe the ability to sing is a gift that one is born with.

While it's true that anyone can be taught how to vocalize properly, they cannot be taught what they don't have.

If you have the natural gift to sing well, then vocal lessons will surely perfect your gift, but they will never make you a great singer! ;o)

  • well fortunately i was born to sing.though i admit theres some songs i can improve on.

  • 0:17 wtf lol!!! XD

  • John, almost tripped over the cord.

  • This song isn't too difficult for me to sing. The hardest in my opinion if you want to sing it EXACTLY like in the album is Another One Bites the Dust because on the second verse he's screaming at the top of his lungs pretty much. I can do it but i need to have a good warm up beforehand lol. Also, THIS Under Pressure is my favorite to sing i love this one. Freddie's the fucking man.

  • had the best ever fucking moe!

  • This is a very difficult song to sing and play!!! This is how I want to remember Freddie...all of them, really...

  • It's really easy on bass!

    Not meaning to gloat...

  • I didn't think you were. I don't play bass, but it's very important to me in the music I listen to. The bottom always drives the song...makes or breaks it, really.

  • I sing it 6 times a week for I am in a Queen Tribute Band, it's the most difficult song to sing, even Freddie Mercury himself has difficulty with this song, but carrying Bowie with you ...

  • yeah, not easy... I give you credit for doing it six times a week!!

  • Well Thank Thee:D

  • Forgive me, but I'm a bit confused....How could Freddie have "difficulty" singing a song that he originally made a hit, and continues to be a QUEEN classic to date?

Of course we all know that this song was a Bowie collaboration, but truth be told, Freddie carried this song vocally. If Freddie had any difficulty singing this song, to my ears your statement is lost.

    ~PEACE~ :)

  • Yes it was a hit, yes it is a Queen and Bowie Classic, Yes Mercury takes this act. I meant that to perform this song Live, it's a difficult task, even for Mercury. In the Studio, you can cut and paste with audio, but live not. I only mean that Mercury does a great job, with this song. Don't forget he's singig a duet alone.

  • I hear what you're saying, but I think Freddie ROCKED this song live!

Roger did help a bit too! :)

  • great.... never seen this.... simply great....

  • brilliant. rip freddie <333

  • Hehe, John played a wrong note at the start!

  • Is it the part where he tripped on a cord? Poor Deac...but god, he's the greatest bass player ever!!!

There will never be another band with chemistry like this...

  • Yeah, that's the part.

    Bass player yourself?

  • No, I wish!

I'm a vocalist and the words always trip me up. The melody is no picnic to perfect either. I guess that's what I meant by this being a difficult song to perform. It's everything together. I know I could never do justice to this song live.

  • Ah. I have a lot of respect for vocalists. Good singers are hard to find. I'm in a band and we just can't seem to find anyone who isn't scared of singing. I would sing, unfortunately that would sound horrible!

  • Too bad you're in the UK and I'm in the US! I'm looking for a bass player. Dang it!

  • Sorry, I'm taken!

  • :o) Lucky band!

    Good luck to you...

  • Why thank you. Good luck to Ratio too.

Hey, if Pro make it to Chicago and we need a support band...

  • excelent

  • savage!!
