i have two friends who bought polaris 850s both have less than 100 miles on them one of them has been in the shop 3 times because the 4 wheel drive keeps breaking and the other one is on his 3rd set of belts because he said our honda 500 was a baby so he said hed pull all our hay wagons out of the field for us and they just went out one by one also they suck for just riding because they are heavy as fuck and awkward ill keep my honda and suzuki

i worked at warrensburg cycle in mo. and can tell polaris is junk! some broke down before even leaving the shop. the polaris pushed its front end instead of turning and the can am turned period. can ams never came in for repair but polaris machines stayed in the shop.belts got smoked easy too.

I own an outlander 800 LTD, and I tell you, it's the most stable, and confortable atv i`v ever riden, and I was playing arround on grizly`s, kitti`s, suzi`s, popo`s and neighter one of them, would beat my brp I just love my brp and it's power given to the wheel`s I got a friend with 7000 miles on hes outy 800 and have no problem at all.
And for everyone outhere, dont comment unless you have played with outlander too and made a little comparition betwen this 2 atv`s.
I have a stock outlander 800 and I will go straight through mud holes. And my buddys Polaris' are modded and all and they are always getting stuck. But there biggest worry isn't getting stuck it's that damn Polaris belt they are worried about slipping or shredding

I love my 06 Can-Am 800xt, it's like a new breed of machine. I just bought it used, they cost too much new. If she had 50cc more she would have 4-5 more hp (71 stock, funny how they only mention Polaris' 70). Don't get me wrong Polaris does make a solid machine.
It's funny how adding an ounce or two of redline water wetter to a Can-am 800 will make the fan barely ever run on a hot day (instead of running almost contanstly). JUST TRAIL RIDING!

haha this video is far fetched...im 17 and bought my can am renegade 800x with ron woods exhaust a year ago and my dad has a polaris 850XP, and we both have 26" zillas on SS112 rims. My quad owns at speed and in the mud...but my dads quad can pull more weight...mine has WAY better gas shocks, and for the dudes and dudettes that think can am has crappy frame..they did up until 08..there as strong as you can get now i believe. BUT my little beater 1999 honda 250 is still given er'. hugely reliable
I like how they didnt use the new canam 800R. canam is way lighter, better fuel econemy. Ive rode both atvs and i liked the canam way better. a group of us goes up north every year for a 1000km ride and we ride with alot of polaris and there always breackin down and we have no troubles with the canams

Until they come out with a full manual locking front diff, I havent considered buying either...I went from a 700 Grizz to now my 1000 Thundercat...I also looked at the 750 King Quad but wanted to move to a twin after the Grizzly...I dont like the front diff on the 750 Brute Force either but it is a nice machine...

face it polaris is junk , always been junk , ive been around enough of them to see and know why they are junk. They might look good on paper but walk around one , look at the quality of their work , see what kind of parts they use , it didnt take me long to realize they are junk , and junk.
Well the frame for instance isnt made very solid as far as im concerned , the undercarriage is lacking protection , the instrument controls and buttons are about rinky dink , theres alot of open electrical connections that will give u problems down the road the angles of they're driveshafts have always been bad , they're struts have always been junk especially the mahperson ones. The clutch system they have has proven not to be the most reilable. Just a number of things fischer.
Im not a fan of either polaris nor can am , just dont like the 4 wheel drive system on neither ones but i would take the polaris system over the can am , the engine of the can am , the suspension of the can am , the undercarriage protection is even worse on the can am , the placement of the ducts for the cvt on the can am are not good. The polaris is probably fine as long as u dont off road it much , i can see where it can get ragged out and worthless real fast.

A friend of mine has rode with me on my 700 grizzly and was impressed , but hes the kind who has to outdo everyone , so he bought the polaris 850xp and put 27in swamp fox plus tires on it like mine. We got to pretty mean mudhole and i went through it , and he couldnt . I went through it again but took me about a minute of working with it , he tried again and couldnt. He got so made he couldnt see straight and only thing he screamed was WHY ,all i did was point to the Yamaha emblem .That did it.
if you notice when they do the cooling test... they say that polaris is at maximum load..but when they show the digital... it's only at around 1200 rpms... thats not maximum... not even half way

menudas trolas cuenta este tio, en primera deberiamos montar el mismo neumatico en cada atv para ver la traccion de cada uno , segunda en el paso por rocas el polaris parece un tablon porque no trabaja la suspension trasera, donde esta la prueba con el outlander no se ve, tercera el freno motor del outlander trabaja bastante mejor que en este video por lo menos el mio,

I have a outlander 650 and It is reliable rotax motors have much more power and nobody beats bombardier the best of the best!! for the polaris in the video they dont show the negative side of the quad they only show the nice part of it bring it on polaris

I love my 06 Can-Am 800xt, it's like a new breed of machine. I just bought it used, they cost too much new. If she had 50cc more she would have 4-5 more hp (71 stock, funny how they only mention Polaris' 70). Don't get me wrong Polaris does make a solid machine.

haha this video is far fetched...im 17 and bought my can am renegade 800x with ron woods exhaust a year ago and my dad has a polaris 850XP, and we both have 26" zillas on SS112 rims. My quad owns at speed and in the mud...but my dads quad can pull more weight...mine has WAY better gas shocks, and for the dudes and dudettes that think can am has crappy frame..they did up until 08..there as strong as you can get now i believe. BUT my little beater 1999 honda 250 is still given er'. hugely reliable

I like how they didnt use the new canam 800R. canam is way lighter, better fuel econemy. Ive rode both atvs and i liked the canam way better. a group of us goes up north every year for a 1000km ride and we ride with alot of polaris and there always breackin down and we have no troubles with the canams

this guy is on some really good shit bo let me get some of that stuff no honda that doesnt have a extrememly moded motor in it will beat a canam 800 or 650 except a crf 450r i mean dude a outlander 500 will beat a rincon and thats the biggest bike honda makes for utility atv's so yeah bo your lieing about whiping canams without a doubt hondas are the most reliable but dont have the performance and suspension like all the other big bores but thats why there reliable not as much stuff to screw up

Until they come out with a full manual locking front diff, I havent considered buying either...I went from a 700 Grizz to now my 1000 Thundercat...I also looked at the 750 King Quad but wanted to move to a twin after the Grizzly...I dont like the front diff on the 750 Brute Force either but it is a nice machine...

Well the frame for instance isnt made very solid as far as im concerned , the undercarriage is lacking protection , the instrument controls and buttons are about rinky dink , theres alot of open electrical connections that will give u problems down the road the angles of they're driveshafts have always been bad , they're struts have always been junk especially the mahperson ones. The clutch system they have has proven not to be the most reilable. Just a number of things fischer.

Im not a fan of either polaris nor can am , just dont like the 4 wheel drive system on neither ones but i would take the polaris system over the can am , the engine of the can am , the suspension of the can am , the undercarriage protection is even worse on the can am , the placement of the ducts for the cvt on the can am are not good. The polaris is probably fine as long as u dont off road it much , i can see where it can get ragged out and worthless real fast.

A friend of mine has rode with me on my 700 grizzly and was impressed , but hes the kind who has to outdo everyone , so he bought the polaris 850xp and put 27in swamp fox plus tires on it like mine. We got to pretty mean mudhole and i went through it , and he couldnt . I went through it again but took me about a minute of working with it , he tried again and couldnt. He got so made he couldnt see straight and only thing he screamed was WHY ,all i did was point to the Yamaha emblem .That did it.

if you notice when they do the cooling test... they say that polaris is at maximum load..but when they show the digital... it's only at around 1200 rpms... thats not maximum... not even half way

as far as reliablity I would say honda all the way. as far as bang for the buck suzuki. well as far as best of the best no one can touch can-am they have a better longer lasting track record. way more HP best systems idk my brother had a 08 RZR and it just felt apart within 1-2k miles the rincon he has ran way ov 4k before it needed anything and those were VERY HARD miles
