Su Dong Chen's EoE is a mix of all 3 major internals: Xingyi, Taiji, Bagua. Similar to Tang-shou-tao, which is from the same lineage. However, he actually blends them all into each other in a more unique way than TST.
The material in this clip is not purely derived from BaGua Zhang. It also has roots in HsingYi Quan. The principle here is indirect attacking, with crossing as the foundation of all indirect attacks.
Master Su has his own BaGua Zhang - "Spiral BaGua Zhang." The forms are developed from spirals we find in the physical world. BaGua Zhang, in the EOE approach, is the expression of "crossed methods" which is "what we do after the cross." - This is my understanding of EOE.
nice!
