Also the herradura you drink have a yellowish color. I'm sure there are guys that can drink tequila just like you pretended to but I seriously doubt that you are one of them.
for the people tha does not know, when the tequila is young, meaning distilled and almost immedeatly bottled its color is transparent, just like water, but when it have been stored kind of the same way the wine is stored so it grow old, for about two months or more, oldest I've heard of is a 100 years old, it gets a yellowish color.
You say cazadores is a good tequila, I guess it is what you think, I don't really like it, and by the way if you want to get the people to think that you are drinking tequila and actually show the bottle where it says anejo you should paint the water so it looks like real tequila anejo,
The guy asked why it is the number one liquor for us mexicans, and i've got to say the reason is not because it is from Jalisco, the reason is because it tastes really good and it is easier to find and cheaper in Mexico than, lets say a whisky of the same quality, and I guess it makes us kind of proud that something from here is so liked in the rest of the world. .
Answer: Didn't happen. This guy is an American. Born in Anaheim, Ca. Went to Anaheim High School. Blah, blah, blah.. A classic pocho. Note to the file: Mexican is NOT a race. It's a nationally. A political title. It can be given and taken away. Race cannot. You can't play the race card, if you don't have it.
You can't just hop back and forth across racial lines, to satisfy your ever changing need for political leverage. This guy has degree from Chapman University. He should know this shit.
when I became amigos with the weyes at my fave taqueria, I told them I'd bring them a bottle of their faborita tequila for Navidad. they all said, "Cazadores"
oh, and why did The Mexican belt that horseshoe tequila like it was a cheap whiskey, instead of rolling it around in his boca, and then inhaling as he swallowed? the proper way, at least at Perfecto that's how they showed us gabacho touristas
Yea, "What do you think of Jessica Alba?", the pocha who, everytime is interviewed, reminds the world that she is of 'Danish and French' ancestry... and HER FATHER is of "Mexican EXTRACTION"'????...whats up with that?
and why does she always say that she never fit in with Latinas, that Latinos did not accept her?? wtf, that chick looks straight up out of compton to me! She denies any ties with anything Mexican- she tries to hard, its like she is truly ashamed. well fuck her!
oh yea... I remember Jessica Alba and on of the reasons why she said that. If I am not wrong while at Premios Juventud ( may be another) she was told by a paparazzi that Mexico was a shame of her for not speaking spanish and that she shouldnt go back to Los Premios again and She never appear again.
I'm sure George Lopez would appreciate the slam against anglo TV.
-el Pocho
Speaking of pochos, what do you think of Jessica Alba - the queen of pochas? You know, the one who said she was glad to finally break off connections to any Mexican background she has as a third generation non Spanish speaker and now has all of a sudden decided to learn Spanish and speak to her child (coming soon to a hospital near you!) only in Spanish.
Beaner4life: will answer your question real soon...
Elderchunti: As I stated in the first video, I'm always filming from the ICE station! Good catch on the Cazadores--some pendejo replaced the añejo inside the bottle with silver--CRAZY. And Hernandez's book comes out next year!
from where do you keep filming these videos, it either looks like a bathroom or a storage room? loved your book and these videos. i can tell that you weren't really drinking the cazadores because añejo is darker than a reposado. do you know when daniel hernandez's book is coming out?
Very funny! If caricature involves the use of exageration for comic effect, you have succeeded in the portrayal of our supposed affinity for tequila, while bringing up its connection with regionalism and the promotion of Jalisco's cultural traditions to create Mexican identity. It was a little uncomfortable, however, in that it also brings up the stereotype of alcoholism in Latino culture. I also prefer horchata!
Jalisco is West Central, next to Colima and Aguascalientes
