The album before khan joined Kamelot are:Siege Perilous,Dominion and Eternity.I don't know the name of the singer though.The bad thing is that the vocals of these albums are not as good as Khan's but the instrumental part of most of these songs is amazing.They should make a remaster-remake of Siege Perilous and Dominion.Seriously...
Wow this is probably the earliest song of thiers that I have listened to now. I'm happy that they've made more use out of Khan's baratone nowadays because he sounds rather... idk the right word for it honestly.
No, I don't think I can honestly say that I like how he's singing this song. It sounds like he's pushing too hard for a voice that isn't naturally his.
of course, roy khan is much better but this song didn't come from him so i uploaded the original, from the very first album of kamelot which I like very much despite the absence of roy khan who joined the band a little later...
@Xeroth16 you know, youre actually right technically Khan is much better, but it's worth of saying that this one is very emotional, it has it's own atmosphere. And the song is powerful. And with this singer whole Kamelot came up right? that also counts:)
i think the song is better with roy khan. He sang it live on The Expedition. Alot of the pictures in this slideshow is pretty new, it's not even the same singer. ^^

Mike Vanderbilt was the original lead singer of Kamelot. Also, Casey Grillo wasn't the original drummer.

i have both albums that he sang on and didnt like his voice in any at all - khan is so much better for kamelot
if you listen to khans version of this song - you will see what i mean - he sings it on the expedition live album
