For some, the problem with Sarah Palin, a State Governor, a former member of an important state regulatory commission, former mayor of an actual city was really not so much that she was 'inexperienced' as they said but that she was a woman, but not a Democrat woman and, to boot, not from an important Democratic family. Dems are ok with Dem women. Repub women? Not so much, they'll find something wrong--which is understandable, but Kennedy's propulsion into consideration shows the hypocrisy!
Coulter says McCain was the media's "poster boy" Republican until he ran against Obama and then they turned against him. PLEASE show me even one instance when the media "attacked" John McCain. Palin's bad media coverage was simply the media showing clips of her doing interviews. Sure, the media knew she sounded like an idiot on these interviews but what were they supposed to do, not air them? Can you imagine the outcry if the media refused to air her interviews? After John McCain clinched the Republican nomination, the media's coverage of him definitely became more negative. The New York Times ran a baseless story about an alleged affair with a lobbyist (for which there was no proof of this being true and they ran the story anyway)....

Just compare the interview the 'The View' ladies had with Obama, who they called "sexy" while John McCain was constantly being interrupted by Barbara Walters, who wouldn't even look at him. The list goes on and on, and if you read Ann's book, I'm sure she's got a lot more of this documented.

Look at the Zogby poll in how Obama won the election. The biggest differentiator between informed and uninformed voters was not party affiliation, but where they got their news.

Not only did we learn logic, way back in high school we actually learned to form complete sentences, and to express actual thoughts in paragraph form.
You might consider some schooling yourself, since you are so interested in education, and clearly lacking the same.
I made a point earlier, that compared to her opponent, Joe Biden, she is an utter genius.
So, knock Palin if you care to, but don't leave our Vice President out of this.
Otherwise you are just revealing your own stupidity.

obama wasn't unknown he was vetted for 2 years, and his beliefs were constantly looked into. he had been a state legislator for 8 years and in the senate for a few. obama had a lot of real interviews, you mustn't have watched them, and he was as clear as any candidate about his positions. also i am not really saying clinton got a raw deal i am just pointing out the hypocrisy of the right in complaining about palin being attacked when they attacked clinton so much.

For some, the problem with Sarah Palin, a State Governor, a former member of an important state regulatory commission, former mayor of an actual city was really not so much that she was 'inexperienced' as they said but that she was a woman, but not a Democrat woman and, to boot, not from an important Democratic family. Dems are ok with Dem women. Repub women? Not so much, they'll find something wrong--which is understandable, but Kennedy's propulsion into consideration shows the hypocrisy!

Coulter says McCain was the media's "poster boy" Republican until he ran against Obama and then they turned against him. PLEASE show me even one instance when the media "attacked" John McCain. Palin's bad media coverage was simply the media showing clips of her doing interviews. Sure, the media knew she sounded like an idiot on these interviews but what were they supposed to do, not air them? Can you imagine the outcry if the media refused to air her interviews? Come on, get serious here.

After John McCain clinched the Republican nomination, the media's coverage of him definitely became more negative. The New York Times ran a baseless story about an alleged affair with a lobbyist (for which there was no proof of this being true and they ran the story anyway)....

...The media suddenly started talking more and more about how old he was and about his temperment. Just compare the interview the 'The View' ladies had with Obama, who they called "sexy" while John McCain was constantly being interrupted by Barbara Walters, who wouldn't even look at him. The list goes on and on, and if you read Ann's book, I'm sure she's got a lot more of this documented.

Besides what KimZfan pointed out already, news bias is not just what you report, but what you *don't* report.
Look at the Zogby poll in how Obama won the election. The biggest differentiator between informed and uninformed voters was not party affiliation, but where they got their news.
If they primarily watched MSNBC or CBS, they were ignorant. If they watched Foxnews, they knew more.

you don't make much sense. obama was vetted for 2 years, from the day he announced he was planning to run. he had 8 years as a state legislator, plus the year or 2 in the senate before he announced. the most anyone could come up with in 2 years about his past was sitting on a board and knowing a 60s radical and a preacher who said things about america being flawed. as far as the one sided media nonsense, mccain ran a terrible campaign of course it would be commented on to some degree.
