You need to have pretty shit pickups to actually do a scream, because poor quality pick ups are basically small microphones and therefore pick up yelling or blowing into it. High quality pick ups are designed to cut out outside noise and buzz. you also need a LOT of volume. more than you can get from just a 'bedroom amp'. It is possible to do it on fenders if you set it to the middle pick up and go exceptionally loud, but even then, its not great..

I do know that if you're doing a pickup yell you don't want to hold the fret on a harmonic since that will cause additional vibration of the strings and you probably wouldn't get that exact sound you're going for, I think, correct me if I'm wrong

as far as I understand, the pickups pick up vibration so the yelling is picked up through the pickup and then run though all the distortion and effects, no need to play a chord or any string, not sure if it would work with an acoustic since you have a hollow body and different type of pickups are used. pickup.

I use to work in a very high-end HI-FI shop and we had two demo rooms, one room had a £20k cinema surround sound system in it and when a customer would ask to hear what it was like we would always play this song off the blu-ray disc, you feel and hear every single little detail and beat, its the closest anyone can get to being there live in my opinion, they the customers were always blown away.

@AKRONDASFAULTIER97 Try using the Danelectro crunch foot pedal on full gain with tone on guitar turned up full and guitar volume just tipping into feedback, There is no need to even touch the strings with your teeth just make the sounds with your voice. In fact try any distortion or crunch to gain this effect. Bear in mind it must be very loud and will not work within a small space that creates feedback with ease. ;)
