In which case, if they do as we do - they will bankrupt THEIR grandkids to repair and improve it yet again...

It's a little ironic when he says things like "we shouldn't be giving aid to other countries we should be spending that money here" what he really means is larger tax breaks and what I want to hear is let's build some infrastructure that our grandkids will use for their economy. In love with his foreign policy and drug policy but his economic policy is a bit hands off. Can't win'em all.

@Watchout5 Well, to be more accurate he means tax breaks at the federal level, but that allows there to be more money for states to - if necessary - raise taxes to pay for infrastructure improvements, etc. In reality, the infrastructure we are building now will be paid for by our grandkids and used by us and (maybe) our kids for a while, but will never survive to their age. In which case, if they do as we do - they will bankrupt THEIR grandkids to repair and improve it yet again...

And that is the entire problem with America today - people expect GOVERNMENT to solve their problems, when that only entails basically forcing other people to support you. I have to say, it's amazing & refreshing to see how true & honest Ron Paul speaks. I can see in his mannerisms, facial expressions & through his eyes that he is a genuine person. Someone to be liked, respected & believed in. I will never trust anyone wholeheartedly but given any of the politicians I've ever followed, he is by FAR the best & very possibly the only one that has the will to turn this country around.
