I have a GoPro LCD BacPac on my GoPro this can be bought and added to any GoPro HD HERO Camera it is about $100. If you search for GoPro LCD BacPac you can find out a lot more about them.
Yes this was the GoPro HERO1. My new GoPro HERO2 also came with a string wrapped around that spot. I would use that string with the knot that I showed to make a great securing loop.
Thanks for the great video! I liked it so much, I added it to my notes so that when I get a gopro in a couple of months, I will remember to do this!
