I also have this camera and like it very much. I opted for the 16gb SD card when I got it and it is more than enough for anyone. 10,000+ pictures or 2.5 hours of video (with audio) at 30 fps. My only beef with this camera is that it shoots video in quicktime format which then needs to be converted in order to edit it for the web... And of course I can't find any FREE decent video editing software. It would be much nicer if it just shot video in AVI or MPEG like other cameras. wtb youtube button.
Hi there- How were you able to zoom in while taking a video? The only thing holding me back from buying SD880 is the fact that you cannot zoom in during video. Did you use a firmware?
You just need to copy directly from the camera to the computer. or you can take the memory card and use the memory card reader to copy to the computer.
If you are using window XP or vista, it will automatically detect the device.

i have the same camera. it only has digital zoom while taking the video. before you take the video you can use the optical zoom to adjust

As I said in my previous comments, you can zoom in or out upto 4x while taking the video..thats the advaantage of this SD880.

i got the same camera, but my video is 1.3 gb long and i can't transfer it sucessfully =(
how did u transfer this to the computer using what program? or was it just drag and drop?

you shoot upto 4x zoom..and the memory depends on your memory card size..you can use even 16 GB memory card
