I watched season after season of stargaze sg1. The other spin off's did the series no justice in my opinion. SGU was the the only one that had the relationship between the characters that made it compelling. I think it ended well before its time.

SGU was probably the most well-thought out sci-fi shows yet produced/aired — far better than (no apologies here, logic rules me, not sentiment): Star Wars, Star Wars Clone Wars, Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis, and of course Star Trek (all). SGU is sci-fi whose quality is comparable to that of Caprica (okay Caprica is actually better). Still, SGU sets an high standard a quality performed show with intelligent content from range of disciplines (and doing it well unlike afore mentioned shows).

I watched stargate for quite some time and it really pissed me off when I found that the show was cancelled. The unstable ratings excuse just added some nasty flavor to that bitter taste.I know business is business, but I watch sci-fi shows because of stargate, not the other way around.
