Great song and performance from Willie (as usual) but it's just a pity it had to include that awful "Nashville Sound" backing vocals.

Willie Nelson is one of the best song writers of our time. He's written songs for Roy Orbison, Patsy Kline, Faron Young, and others. When it comes to covering songs, Willie, like Frank Sinatra could make anybody else's song like it was their own.

Back in the 70's, when I was about 9 years old my family would go to my grandmas house and play cards and drink and inevitably grandma would get drunk (everyone would ) and start playing these old country songs. I can smell her pork ribs (with no fat trimmed off) cookin now. mmmmm
