Great Vid!!! What he says is right BUT Apple Computers and Mac OS X (10.2/3/4/5/6/7) DON'T need many ram or mb's for graphics.... And Mac PC's are more expensive then Windows PC's 'cause the Quality of this machines are better then for example an acer PC. This makes them used still more expensive then cheaper windows PCs. And Intel Macs run Windows to what means they are great allrounders.

yes it is. i had a 120gb hard drive in my macbook but it was completely full so i had to go out and get a 320gb hard drive.. which i could easily fill up in less than a day if i rly wanted to! also aside from the internal 320 gb hd i have i also have a 250gb external hd that is down to about 300mb left!

I was able to record 40 simultaneous tracks with 17 cpu hungry real time plugins reverbs,delay's, comp, etc and it finally crashed at about 18. That's more than ill ever need. That's with a 7200 rpm Hitachi travel star drive and 4 gigs. My usb external drive seems to be able to keep up with no problems. I didn't test when it was stock so I don't know.

Just kick in some ram and you'll be fine with 64 bit Snow. Everything else is just a pissing contest. Computers are like breast, anything more than a mouthful is just a waste. If your not a hardcore gamer this is pretty cool. Their stable, quiet, and will save u a lot of money in the long term if u need to keep it running all the time. Their easy to sleep and easy to wake.

They ruined an otherwise great machine with small harddrives and no HDMI. That just won't do. No mac for me anytime soon. I would rather have and ATI graphics chip in there too with 256 ram mininum. That would be worth 599€ or more.

the one that has 256mb video ram can play most of the games out there! it can even play crysis graphics on high but everything else on medium. and the upper model has 2.26GHz 4gigs of ram and a 256mb video card.. and the best for last a 360GB HARD DRIVE!!! all that power in a small computer!

yeah it can play crysis..., but it sucks, i have the 2.26ghz,4gbram with a 500GBHDD@7200rpm to tell you the truth its graphics suck you cant even play the sims 2 properly theres some lagg ,yet alone crysis <20FPS with no shadows etc is pretty shitty for a 1400$+(AUD) computer , i dont think its design to play games it has a 110W powersupply its a greeny ,but i get ya its small. cheers!

Cysis is nothing more than a shitty game with GREAT...no...AWESOME graphics. The game itself : SUCKS!!! I bought it & played it on my VooDoo PC. Two games that are MUCH BETTER are Call of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare & Tom Clancy's Vegas 2! These games blow the doors off Crysis & play EXCELLENTLY on the Mac Mini! Crysis is just a bad game - it's NOT your computer! Trust me! I have one hell of a VooDoo PC & it sucks even on there! Just thought you might want to try those games! Enjoy! =)

I don't think you can compare Macs to PCs.

If you think that this doesn't have enough bang for the buck, then you can go down the line of Macs and say the same thing comparing them to pc counterparts. Especially the MacBook Air. This MacMini has way more features than that. Now I know it's a desktop and the Air is a laptop but when it comes to the bang for your buck, there's no comparison. For anyone out there trying Mac for the first time, this is a great value.
