  • wow thank you for share this

  • I love it. Thank you for sharing this with me. :-)

  • I love it! Bluegrass music is terrific. Raol can really play that guitar...

In 'ole San Anton(io) that they sing about... the Menger Hotel, next door to the Alamo, has gunshot holes in the mahogany bar where there were shootouts during the days of the wild west.

  • @anabel3573 I hope I can see the Alamo, and the holes in the mahogany bar this month, if someone can lead me there. Never got to see Alamo, though Ive been passn thru Texas 8 or 9 times.

  • @inbetweentics Glad you liked it, I was suppose to get $2000 for a 3 camera shoot and edit, but the producer of the Event lost money due to rain, and he never paid me even 1/3, so I lost money, but at least I got the only

footage of a rare event. Most of it I have never had time to share. Glad you enjoyed it. share it with some music friends

  • Great group!

  • @paytonb08 THANKS I thought they were better than the BIG gig guys, that played Chilli Dawg.

  • Really, this is just excellent! You may have taken a bath on it, but be proud! You my freind are a patron of the arts,

  • @TimGuitarTaylor both me and the Promoter took a bath.

  • I love this stuff! I grew up with an acoustic guitar, and country and bluegrass as the foundatin of the rock and roll I play now...many cal me a shredder for the speed and incendiary stage show I put on, buit without country and bluegrass I would have never evolved into a good guitarist. My right hand technique is directly from playing foggy mountain breakdown, and other such lovelies...god do I love this stuf.

  • I love Foggy Mountain... my brother used to play it on guitar and or banjo...

  • @TimGuitarTaylor God knows you love this stuff. He really does. :)

  • @tinycrack77 yup.

  • thanks for this share boog this is some good time bluegrass music i enjoyed it your shares are always so awesome thanks merry christmas

  • Nice tunes, good feelings. I don't know about these events being racist. In 93, took a road trip with my friend from Germany to a Bluegrass festival in MA, everyone was welcame, a great happy time wherever one was from.

  • really nice!!! thanks for sharing. I went to Virginia a few years ago and really wanted to go to one of these festivals of traditional music; unfortunately, the person who was showing me around told me these events are asociated with racism and that I would better stay away from it. I never really knew whether that was true or not but I was very dissapointed 'cause to me music goes beyond those things. Anyway, I love these guys.

  • Yea, there was NO RACISM at this one, done in the Rain, apparently in San Luis Obispo California.

  • This is the best sound, NEW WEST in this venue, and done in the Rain, Coudoos to Camera crew, william Wagener and the Performers, and the AUDIENCE sitting in the MUD & rain...

GREAT JOB to Organizer and video people Glad this got a tape. Listened to it 40 times or more... Damn good performance.

  • Great harmonies this New West group has. Nothing like tight, and smooth, three-part harmonies. Very refreshing to the ear, and they compose some good songs, too.

  • Damn good, and in the rain too. Those folks were determined.

    Love that NEW WEST SOUND.

  • uuuuuuhhhhhh............

  • HA, I play with a folk band, some folk rock to.

If people have not square danced before, there no more wholesome dance than square dancing.

Had to learn it in grade school.

few summers ago in Chicago, folk fest came to town, huge square dancing floor. It was Awesome to soften the hearts of Chicago with some square dancing.

  • That is cool, maybe I should upload some square dancing... humm.....

  • I like that.

  • How nice to hear real music and feelings without the bull. This is my music I wish I were there. Thank you and keep real living alive, again anything real is very welcome in my life every day.

  • Love this Comboy Music. Makes my heart sing,

and I want to go find a horse named "Trigger" and ride off with Roy Rogers.

  • This is Heavenly Music to my ears.

thanks... made my evening. calmed the savage in me.

  • Thank you! That´s great! Fantastic music! Life without Country is like a Cowboy without stetson!

  • Wow! Great music and party. This may sound crazy, but it was an act of Divine invention that bought me here to tkae a break and listen... The divine intervention is kind of like this, if I could go back in time and me myself in 2009, and said to the 2002. To explain what's happenned in this world. The 2002 me would tell me I'm crazy too. Thanks God for chipper musicians and fine fine music...

  • Lotsa fun.

I am more of a trad Jazz and Ragtime guy, but this Bluegrass is wonderful stuff.

    Thanks for the send!

    RagJazzMonkey Tom
