FIA is punishing and giving fines in such situations because they want to show that this is the safest sport and show a very good image through TV, cause also children are watching. Bullsh*t! TV is showing people fighting, wars for oil, stresses people about economic crysis. This what should be fined and banned. Not drivers riding other cars because they ran out of gas.

@Verliebt Doesn't mean anything, there's a lot of race spec engines that could rev really high, it's just their durability is crap. The FIA cap is 18000RPM but I doubt that the teams run at that limit even during quali, regs make it near impossible for the engine to rev that high without imploding

very often you hear the cars hitting the rev limiter, it's sometime so clear that even the commentator notice it with all the stuff they have going on.
