tell me one thing the first step which is already done when the video started...does the basic step includes the making of pleats as well... what we do to a normal saree...does bengali saree includes pleats as well..

In the basic step, we dont make any pleats. The sareee is just draped like that. Then as you can see in second step pleats are done to set the pallu neatly. So all in all no pleats for Bengali Saree.

hey this is an awesome video of the draping of a bengali saree but a few flaws if rectified wud help us newbies to the saree world to understand better why is it tat the the cameraman go around at the back too where u drape the saree like i mean is tat the camera needs to show us the complete process and this female didnt even show how the back looks of the completely draped saree. these are the lil things that maybe can be added in the next videos if you do anymore.

Hi all, just wanted to update you. Finally got all of my outfits, one month later, even though I paid for express ship option. They leave many staples in outfits, some on the front neckline. Difficult to remove. They use cheap sequins, so your outfits smell of metal. They also failed to make one of my outfits to the measurements I specified. They also used an end of fabric to make one item, so it has sequins only on half of the back of the item- looks absolutely ridiculous!!!

An employee actually lied to me and told me my order had shipped, when another told me it had not. If you are in U.S., don't buy from them. I am a buyer from Kansas. I got three sarees from them and I am really satisfied with their service. It usually takes them One month to get my stuff even if it is "Express shipping". You have to give them time to custom stitch your blouse and petticoat. And nobody in the US will stitch your blouse for $8. hi, no thats not true...basically a girl starts wearing a saree once she reaches puberty...i think its a sign of womanhood and of course the cultural attire in india. Also there are different ways to wear a saree. Each state in india has its own style of wearing it. Its actually pretty cool!!
