i recommend this laptop for doing experiments cause this laptop dont have any product/company software except the installed Function button [Fn + (press key)] for the keyboard. and it doesnt bother to put any OS and its kinda Cheap and affordable. It has a Norma screen resolution and a friendly Screen LED 9" display. And last i Can upgrade its hardware anytime without finding its original parts..

3 Years ago I bought an Acer aspire one 150 model (Atom/1gb/60gb-pata/winxp) Package with a 3 year RTB warranty, a copy of MS Office 2007 Home (In Retail Box) and an Acer $50 cash back which I actually got back about 6 months after sending it in. It cost AU$399 (at the time US$300)

I recommend the hp 2133!! The only problem is starting up it takes a while. The Internet goes quickly after that and put xp or windows 7 on to make this laptop quicker to start.

Great vid!! hi viewers i have the hp 2133 which is great!! The only problem is it takes a few minutes too load but that's ok. I would recommend the hp 2133 to people aged 12+ because it is more of a professional laptop plus hp is by far the best and safest brand. Hoped I've helped!!

@hiitsteddy It would be a lot easier working on a faster cpu than the Atom. Photoshop is apparently more heavy on the graphics than cpu since its not a 3D application. I would pick up a cheap Core 2 Duo laptop (not a netbook) with at least 2 gigs of memory. Asus N51V is a good alternative.

@VitoStudiosXD I think they all have the Intel Atom so I dont think it will matter. Maybe one has more memory than the other. Choose one that feels comfortable and stays cool. I think you should get the Samsung NC10 since it scored the highest in a test. Maybe you should buy a laptop if you want serious gaming?

Well, within a year, all 3 Toshibas were train wrecks, while four years later, both my friends' HPs are great. but you can't compare xp os boot and vista os boot...vista have very very longg boot time...because that notebook(hp 21 33) don't have dual core and haven't a big frequency and cpu clock...so for a little notebook like this it's a miracle that vista can boot...

No, Linus is right.When netbooks were envisioned, they were supposed to be PDAs with a large keyboard, i.e. 2005's Sony UX50. The unit itself was meant to weak with little storage, with processing power coming from the Net. They were meant to be like the dumb terminals (i.e VT100) of the 70's/80's that used a company's central computer for power. As you can see, the HP is far from that. It's processor and 120 mg HD are more powerful than the full size Dell B130 laptop I bought 6 yrs ago.

Netbooks are a subcategory of subnotebooks. In fact, Sony's Vaio C1 from 2001has very few differences with new Netbooks except for the CPU and the new solid state drives. The fact is, all Netbooks are subnotebooks, and many, esp the ones with magnetic HDs are indistinguishable from normal laptops/notebooks except for their size. They can even run Windows.

'"Netbooks" is meaningless because they're not dependent on the Net as envisioned. Look up 'subnotebook' on Wikipedia for more info.
