those things are so cool. i bought a used one when i was a kid and it came with about 60 movies. these things were so short lived that absolutely nobody knows what i'm talking about when i say i have one.
well there where tons of other formats inbetween this and tape and there were alot of tape ones, but this was not the first system to use a record for video recording. there was a system used in around 1928 or so that used a record but that was for mechanical television, it was called "Phonovision"
This is my first time hearing about this Disc player thingy... wow...
This player, then the VCR, then DVD's (which is like Music records to Compact Discs), then HD DVD (which they discontinued) then the latest technology... Blu-Ray
Now everything is being digital like watching movies onto portable hand-held devices... Wow!!!!!
Thanks for the upload, I actually have that exact model (Not a demonstration one, though) and it was a lot of help.
I not even sure why I have one of these or the movies (Trashpicked, probably) and I was too scared to death of breaking something to try the damn thing out.
the gate on mine seems to be jammed- when i turn it on, it just makes this awful clicking and i can't load it. it was unused for a while, so i'm not sure if there is already a vinyl in it.. i can't find an empty box *shrug* any suggestions? i'd love for it to work again!
