Either Americans are just so simple that they think other simple people should run their country, or they are totally racist and prior to the Palin pick they knew Obama was the right choice but couldn't pull the trigger on McCain and appease their racist desire. I don't make sweeping generalizations about what specific job group votes for what party. Gore and Kerry made that mistake and they are now on the scrapheap where your "leader" will soon be. My point, if you can grasp it, is that many people whose votes count don't get too involved in "polls" and voicing opinions until near election day.
