At any rate, I have my mom's 17 or 18 year old Macintosh that still runs and has this on it! Is there any way on earth I can transfer afterdark to this computer? (It's a dell running Windows XP) I remember playing with it for hours, long after midnight sometimes when I was a kid.. I remember the StarTrek one, Daredevil Dan, You bet your head, the rat race, the one with marbles and smilie marbles falling, all of them!

actually, the purpose of a screensaver was to prevent a static desktop from being burned onto your screen by displaying a moving image when your computer idles. This is only a problem with CRT screens, so screensavers today have little function except flavor.

I have After Dark 3.2 installed on my Dell laptop with Vista, and this screensaver works perfectly! The only difference is that the MIDI sounds different, and that I run it at my native monitor's resolution of 1280x800.
