  • Right on! Release the demos, Elektra!

  • Damnit Sandy Pearlman is a mother fucking genius!

  • @XRedxEyedxWandererX ^^^gospel truth^^^

  • This is better than the Doors at least instrumentally. This band wails, and the Doors screech with the high pitched organ on every song. Also, Jim Morrison was overrated. Soft White Underbelly should have been recorded and preserved for history, as Arthur Lee's band, Love, was preserved. All my life I've heard how great the Doors are from people like Oliver Stone. Love and Soft White Underbelly were much better bands, who never got their just due.

  • Very interesting... Thanks for positing this..

  • Doors wannabes?

  • @bmgfl

haha the whole band actually came together in the first place cos Les Braunstein (singer) was seen to be the west coast version of Jim Morrison...

  • @Durandal1717 You do mean east coast version!

Not to mention Bark In The Sun or Mystic Stump, the first ever Meltzer/Bouchard collabs and precursors to the cagiest cretins this side of Maine.
