@RonaldReaganModelUN Looks like it's Versailles Parkway and Smoky Hill Road. Great video abrardean! We used to live less than half a mile from Southlands, but had moved by the time the tornado hit. We watched it from our son's upstairs window (near Quincy and Parker), and watching it hit Southlands was just surreal.
Excellent. Never seen the coverage of the beginning of that tornado. Robust storm with incredible inflow at the beginning (note the trees bending towards the developing tornado. Great job. Thanks!
omg it was the scariest thing ever! i was there! there was hail the size of golfballs coming down! i was in the movies, and all of a suddden a guy came in and started yelling that theres a tornado right next to us we had to hide in the bathrooms! it was the scariest experience of my 11 year old life!!! when it was over, everyone went outside, there were chairs everywhere, total havoc. *shudders* one of the scariest things ever!!!
ya how DID u stay calm? wasn't that scary? i mean thats so cool that u caut it on tape, but... wow ur brave! espesually when it was on the ground! Cool i wish u were me!
Wow -- how did you stay SO calm? I mean, you were totally...basically ;) in it!! As all can "hear" I did NOT stay calm and I was 3 miles away. I am learning from watching all these videos -- I'm going to stay "calm" next time...well, as long as I'm with my kids! ;)
