correct fishgirl15, but there are also good dive story sites on the net. my favorite is the myscubastory site. they have real dive accident stories and a collection of videos too! Type myscubastory intogoogle and its the first result - :)
The music I used was "fragile" a song by Sting to promote the "fragility" of this precious environment, that must be protected for generation to come (and dive).
hay muchisimos cenotes hermosos en yucatan, es un lugar maravilloso lleno de cultura y una gran variedad de lugares y paisajes hermosos. Yo tengo la suerte de haber nacido ahi y todavia no conozco todos... VEN Y VIVE MEXICO !!!
Wait a minute... did you really see a shrimp, a blind albino cave fish AND the eel all on the same dive?!? And isn't that conch fossil actually from the Tajma Ha cenote cavern system?
I love the croc-eating-Barbie turn point, don't you?
The ALTO sign is posted at different cave entrances that require higher (cave) training and special equipment. Certain cave systems are really long, tight and complicated to navigate with strong currents...et cetera. We had done a very simple cavern dive that only required to use a qualified guide with cave equipment, allowing a max of 4 divers to follow with regular scuba gear. The safety rules in mexico are moderate, but respected by most dive operators.
the sign also says that over 300 cave divers and advance divers died going into that cave, because they got lost and the closest way out except that entrence is 1,5 km away.
I was at Dos Ojos recently, and didn't see anything like that kind of fish life. Is this all from the Dos Ojos cenote? Obviously the crocodile is, haha, but in our two dives, I'm not sure if we saw ANY full size fish, let alone a large school like the one that starts the vid off.

Almost positive and unavoidable death to the untrained in cave diving.

Hi! Yes the footage is purely from the two dives at dos ojos... guess the fishes pop up in hope to get feed by snorkelers.

El agua de la mayoria de los cenotes subterraneos es transparente y da la sensacion de estar volando en un mundo subacuatico.

Dos Ojos must be kept a secret. It's the most beautiful spont in the world. If word gets out it will be soon be destroyed by careless tourist.
