They had a talented stacked program compare to us. We don't get great options of high school top players. UGA does. Ima Warrior fan no matter what happens. There's adifference in that, Florida plays in the SEC, Hawaii plays in the WAC. Winning the WAC is like being the smartest kid with Downes syndrome. It just doesn't prove anything. Florida's record in 96 wasn't the result of playing high school teams like Hawaii's was. Nebraska was just that good. No, Hawaii just couldn't compete with the 2nd best team in the nation and in the SEC. They would have been fine against an Ohio State, a Kansas, a Va Tech, or Oklahoma that year. We lost to a very good Oregon State team that almost made it to the Rose Bowl and happens to have one of the hottest freshman running backs in the nation (its hard to believe he doesn't play for us). That isn't something to be ashamed about.
