My lights are so odd, by the way drivers behave, I'm pretty sure I get mistaken for a copper sometimes !

SMIDGAF. For me the answer is a powerful non-flashing light and no hiviz, then they think you're a motorcycle.

@CyclingMikey That sounds about right, the fear of being followed home by a motorbike would change the minds of many "SMIDSY's". I try to remember to stop mine flashing when travelling at speed, as flashing means a slow bike to many drivers
