I'm going to get my first uke for xmas. Should I get the saprono or the concert version. (I'm 13 years old with pretty big hands)

@zChill101z A soprano is pretty small. I think the concert uke is the perfect size - small enough to travel with, fuller sound than soprano, and you have more frets.

@gymringss Absolutely. Unless you're a tiny, tiny little person with teeny, tiny fingers, the soprano is just too small. The inch and a half difference in the concert makes all the difference in the world.

I am a newbie to the Uke world and bought one of these as my first...No matter how many tuning,strumming, and chord tutorials I watch I still can't play worth a crap. Do you think I should downgrade to a soprano?

@andlee71694 I think you should stop being so hard on yourself and just PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. You will get there. The muscles in your fingers need to be built up and this does not happen over night. Just don't get discouraged, the best players have to start off somewhere.

How do you like this ukulele? Are those the original strings that came with it? or did you put some new ones on?

@Scarth07 Playing as it came from the factory.  Have no complaints, and has a really great sound for such a small size.

@nursievix Indeed, it did. Has some basic chords/songs with how to strum and such. A quick search on youtube would teach you all you probably need to know.

@luxito2727 It is a concert ukulele. A standard uke is soprano, then comes concert, tenor, and baritone. Let me know if that helps.
