Chopra's notion of the "third" Jesus sounds much like that not uncommon of Buddha--your being becomes the Buddha in all your ways. Chopra's notion of the "third" Jesus sounds much like that not uncommon of Buddha--your being becomes the Buddha in all your ways. In essence, you become the Buddha; in a similar way, we all become the "third" Jesus. I like Chopra's concept of the three forms of Jesus, I think it could clear up alot of the confusion amongst Christians. The third and most vital form of Jesus requires no god, however, as it is a state of mind. Furthermore the spiritual, wise and holy Mr. Chopra must dye his hair almost everyday, his hair is totally black in every interview and every video. No grey/white roots at all, now that requires constant time and effort. Interesting way for a spiritual and holy man to spend his time and money.
Such vanity, such cynical and false marketing of himself.

@hazlitt1 the last time I saw Chopra on tv his hair was totally grey. and even if he did dye his hair, you get upset over that?? let it go, his books are great, ayurvedic medicine has been around for a long time, he's smart

I am not 'upset', just pointing out that a 'Spiritual Guru', is so vain as to color his hair every month and in denial about his age. 3, ayurvedic madicin may have been around for a long time, but so has snake oil and vodoo. Something being old does not mean it is good, genuine or has medical value. It simply means it is old. It's this sort of untrained and naive thinking Chopra takes advantage of in people like you. The guy is a crook

@MsRukhsanna this was 2 years ago! I'm talking about the last time I saw him on tv a few days ago. Voodoo is not a form of medicine, so it's nothing to be compared to to Ayurvedic Medicine. there is some value in it-thinking outside the box helps sometime. He's 63!! He looks great

has anyone noticed the bejeweled , designer eyewear deepak wears as of late? it cracks me up ! just close your eyes and imagine ghandi sporting jewel encrusted spectacles....the image is hilarious...deepak reeks of vainity....how about the dali lama in a pair of dame edna specs ! lol

It's actually an excellent book; it often takes a person from the 'outside' to shift a perception---he's a bridge that way. He also incorporated some of the best from "bizarre" Gnosticism. It was very respectful, as he did not take anything away from Jesus' sacred existence; except for perhaps not mentioning why he is the Lamb; but that might confuse gentiles into hanging Gwen Stefani's fashionable clothing line over our doors. Hey BrotherAIMANALI, I don't think his book is either stereotypical or evangelical. Did you read it? It's emanationism through individual consciousness which makes the Creationist vs Evolutionist debate a moot point; they can coincide just fine; those who see just one side are limiting themselves and creating conflict that doesnt really have to be there.

Deepak is just an ordinary person like the rest. He may be a celebrity. But celebrities are not Gods. He may be intelligent, clever etc. but all that pertains to the ego. But to be a Jesus Christ one has to erase the ego. Deepak has not erased his ego or born again in God Consciousness like Jesus Christ did. Deepak can write a million books on Jesus but he is no Jesus. Ramana Maharshi would chide Deepak for his arrogant attitude if he were alive. Deepak are you not content with your money?
