@ILITTHEWORLDONFIRE The bolt is removed by pressing the bolt release and pulling the bolt rearward. Hope this helps! If you have any additional questions or comments, please feel free to contact us at 1-800-243-3220. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. CT; Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CT.
This would have been so much better if it were about 10 minutes long and you spent more time on everything. Especially, I'd like to know the special tools you used and where you can buy them.
@hackamore I bet he would sell them to you. He is the founder and CEO of Midway-USA. I agree a 10 minute version with more detail would be nice. I'll re-watch a video a number of time to catch it because he sails through it.
After driving out the retainer pin from the striker assembly everything does NOT come apart for me. I can only remove the bolt body and the retainer pin and I can't get anything else to come apart. Remington help center is useless and Poterfield doesn't show the rest after driving out the pin. I am stuck and need help
@AceAffliction You may want to try torquing the srews to 35" lbs (Mil-Spec), then staking the screws. The AR-15 forum has a great post by DPMS on staking the gas key:

Why in the world would I want to take the barrel out of the receiver? How does that get headspaced again correctly for pete's sakes? Is there a witness mark of some sort on a Remington 700?
Make a video on PUTTING IT BACK TOGETHER PLEASE!!! It's easy to take things apart, showing how to safely reassemble everything would be more useful... Thank you.
Very nice. I look forward to seeing the rest of this project, as I have a Remington 700 I'm working on, myself. Is there any chance you're going to forgo the standard extractor for a Sako extractor, though?
Larry, you're the man. I used to shoot 'ok', but I have increased my accuracy with your videos of proper barrel breaking and gun care tips - and that isn't even the part that has to do with actually shooting!!
Larry, you rock!
