  • [He-Man] "Here's an idea. All of the kids can get a free toy!"

[Skeletor] "YES! WITH PAID ADMISSION! NEEEHAHAHA!"

[He-Man] "No. I mean free for showing up! You know, just free at the door."

[Universal Studios] "SHUT UP YOU FOOL! NEEEHAHAHA!"

    [Skeletor] "NEEHAHAHAAAAA!"

    [He-Man] "Aww, come on."

  • I remember in like late 86 or early 87 they did a He-Man and She-Ra Masters of the Universe on Ice tour, much like Disney's World on Ice. IIRC, they had just about every character from both cartoons.

  • Why did not uses these costumes for the movie?????????

  • I went to a similar promotion like this with the Ninja Turtles.

  • Would *you* take anything Skeletor gave you???

  • @StormsongK Apparently, YES!

  • i would hit it with she-ra

  • if i had been that boy, I would have punched Skeletor in the face for all the evil things he done, and then told He-Man to beat him up! He's standing right there, get him!

  • chris jericho at 0:05

  • lol Skeletor and Glimmer look like good parents together.

  • lol

  • que tiempos los 80¡

  • What year was this? 85?

  • i got he man and man at arms

  • @MarvelBoy im prettty sure if that actually was she ra's sword, the center would be painted blue to resemble the crystal and as you can see, the sword he-man was holding was not painted blue in the center

  • my dick is rock hard for she ra

  • The chick playing She Ra is hot.

  • @pyrogyra72 argeed

  • Nice Halloween costumes.

  • I've got 4 days to make it!

  • She-Ra's a fox!

  • @Kregermeister yes yes she is

  • @Kregermeister Actually, she's a Fox and a half.

  • If He-Man and all his friends and foes gathered around me and looked at me in that same adoring manner I wouldn't be too excited. Cool though. I wish I was around for this. Free toys!

  • wow so I could have meet skeletor and get a skeletor figure awasome!

  • Now that I do remember id never went but man that does takes me back! BD

  • I think the little boy you see played with Sly Stallone in Rocky 4 as is son, check it out

  • @Actionhero26 Looks like Rocky son in IV

  • I was from that generation of kids, was born in 81, i miss the 80's so much.

  • @Actionhero26 me too. 80s forever

  • Sod that. It looks well eerie

  • I cannot help but notice that those costumes are far more accurate than the movie ones were!

  • The voice over guy is John Erwin, the voice of He-Man from teh 80s cartoon

  • Nostalgia! The 80's was the best, any kid who was there in the 80's will tell you that. Universal Studios was at it's best from 1985 to 1989. I went around that time. Conan the Barbarian Show, He-Man and She Ra, An American Tail live show with Fievel's Playground for kids, the first time we saw E.T. the ride and Back to the Future, and the Battle Star Galactica attraction. Memories of a much better time - the 80's

  • if they where to do this again i would go!!!!

  • Is the voice-over actually John Erwin who did the voice for He-man in the Filmation cartoon? Cool!

  • wow I wish I could go to this now.

  • They could of atleast used a sexi model for she-ra

  • damn those toys look so easy to break.

  • @SENBIE Actually they are of a much better quality than action figure toys these days. The plastic used these days is so cheap and often breaks, while my vintage Masters are all still is perfect condition! God I miss the 80's...

  • Was that, by any chance, suppose to be the Ad for the "Masters Of The Universe" Power Tour?

  • What I wouldn't have given to go to that show!!!!!

  • I would have loved to seen this.

  • Prepare the time machine...

  • I was in Universal Studios in 2004. I think childs from California in the 80's were very lucky if they watched the show.

  • Skeletor played by the bloke from Scream.

  • i like the fact they had John Erwin doing the VO nice touch

  • Years ago, I read a report, like an actual newspaper report, about two of the actors who were part of this live show in 1987.

It may have been corny as hell, but as a kid you don't think that way. I know they did those shows for a very short time toward the end of the toyline. It was cancelled soon after.

  • OMFG, I remember this commercial!!! And I was there @ USH to see He-Man & She-Ra, LOL! My free toy was Battle Armor He-Man, and I got a picture taken with the girl who played Teela! (and she was HOT!) :D Wonderful memories!

  • You was very lucky!. I was in Universal Studios in 2004 but I'm from Spain. It should have been born and lived in Los Angeles XD

  • cara q dimaissss!!! mãe, quero ir para os estudios da universal!!!

  • haha lol fake!

  • Wow! I would love to see someone's video of an actual performance. :D

  • great but this wasn available in my country!

  • Is there a copy of the actual show on film? I wonder if MATTEL ever bothered to film this live action show?

  • The beauty of simpleness. This kind of toys was amazing. I loved to play with Masters of The Universe and G.I.Joe action figures.

  • Is that John Holmes as Man-At-Arms?

  • cool

  • Why can't people do more shit like this?!

  • So cool. I loved to see all those action figures and the best was thta they were so different with different weaponry and diferente backgrounds. Great franchise.

  • How awesome is John Erwin!? His voice is so...HE-MAN!!! Love it!

  • don't you wish that they did this again this year.

  • I was there! :) So many fond childhood memories of this event, and Universal Studios Hollywood in general. I even remember the free toy I was given; a "Castaspella" She-Ra action figure. "Woooooow..." ;)

  • God I remember this ad. The tune in the back with John Erwin voicing as He-Man made the ad sound so epic. I so wanted to go but never got around to it XD !!!

  • uuummm why does He-man have She-ra sword, she had the crystal in the middle

  • Coz he finally decided to come out

  • @MarvelBoy82 i guess she has the the balls now

  • i remeber the live action show also remebr them having a float in the thanksgiving day parade

  • HHAHAHA LOL

WE all know that he man looks gay as hell but back when we were kid watching it I dont think we noticed how gay it looked until now!

Still one of my fav cartoons as a kid!!

  • Dude, i would have agreed with you. I saw the intro of He-Man 10 years later and said to myself : man this was so gay lol But Still Love it, just like you did. But recently, i started watching the series again on DVD and after the 2nd Episode, the gay part disapeard. I watch it with the eyes of 1983 and it isn't even boring ! Estonishing.

  • Anyone notice the announcer in this is John Erwin, the voice of He-man from the 80's Filmation cartoon? Listen closely.

  • I cant get over that gay looking he-man.

  • I actually met the guy who played this live action He-Man! No joke, he was my cab driver when I visisted L.A. about 6 years ago.

  • oh hells yea I wish I went there when I was a kid

  • isnt that the kid who played rocky balboa's son in rocky iv?

  • Totally dude! Totally!

  • @cheevo99 yes i think it is right?

  • Skeletor was fucking generous to that kid!

  • He was caught by the Christmas spirit.

  • lol i went to this. it was really "weird". but i got a kiss on the cheek from she-ra!

  • BUENA! ESA! ese eskeletor humano al final soteniendo la caja re groso!..XD!

  • Awesome, I remember this. Wish i could have gone.

  • Awesome I love the 80's!! Msters of the universe toys are cool, I have some barried in my closet!!

  • Wow... They really milked this franchise to death.:)

  • i just experienced retroactive envy.

  • Lmao! I know, right?! When was the last time they gave away a friggin' whole action figure to kids just for going to an amusement park?

  • I think I saw Frosta in the background... I'm there!

  • Had I gone to this, I would have spent some quality time with Teela. Mmmmmm...Teela.

  • lol yea she-ra would of been to loose..hmm evil lin or the sorceress

  • ol I remember this lol

  • Action figures for all kids aged 4-11??

There must've been some mighty pissed 12 year olds there.

  • LOL No kidding! XD

  • wahhh cool!

  • Skeletor later killed those kids, but they enjoyed there free action figures.

  • Awesome!

  • Wish I was able to see that back then..!

  • There was this live He-Man & She-Ra show that toured the U.S. back in 1985 or 1986. Anyone remember?

  • yeah, the Masters of the Universe Power Tour

  • Never accept a free toy from Skeletor it will probably explode when you get it home!

  • Great Stuff!! Thanks For This Clip!!

  • Did anyone notice that when the actor who plays He-man holds his sword up, it has a diamond in it, ala She-ra's sword of protection...someone screwed up.

  • I want them all!

  • Wow back when Christmas was still called Christmas.
