The decline of American power & prestige under Obama leaves the Pacific Rim alone to defend itself against China. It always buggs me when they say this, and the supporting evidence is only that "4th largest military spending" Japan is a second largest economy. A person with half a brain would understand that it's natural thing to have large amount of military spending, apart from the fact that military strength could not be measured by the amount of money spent on military, especially when the law prohibits exporting weapons.
