  • thank you very much

  • @dreamqq no problem :)

  • does it change how much space is on the hdd

  • @ritenxt2u well, im not sure what you meen, but look at it like this:

imagine these lines being the space on the harddisk: -------------------- (there are 20)

now imagine that this is after making a FAT 32 partition: ----- | --------------- (there are still 20, but its split into a 5+15 way)

  • @dumle29 hey my usb is already Fat32 and my usb still doesnt show up on my ps3 is there something wrong i need help

  • @AstroZombiz hmm, yeah, something is not right. does it show up on your computer?

  • @dumle29 yes it works good in the computer but it doesnt show up in ps3

  • @AstroZombiz and you are 100% sure its FAT32 and not NTFS?

  • @dumle29 yea

  • @AstroZombiz right click on the external disk and choose properties and see what format it has, cause that cant be right i have a fat32 external which works on my ps3.

and if it is a fat32 format then its probably not a plug and play hdd.

  • @AstroZombiz im almost certain that you have exfat format on your HDD

  • @tsoppannos oh yeah he might.

  • if i format my external HDD to fat32 can i play my downloaded games on my PS3?

    sorry for my bad English

  • @darksavior08 well not unless you have your ps3 cracked.

when you format in Fat32 the ps3 can read the data on the drive

  • @dumle29 my ps3 is already jailbreak

  • @darksavior08 then i suppose so. all this formatting thing does, is that it allows the ps3 to read the data on your harddrive. if the drive isnt FAT32 the ps3 cant "see" the files on the drive.

  • @dumle29 ok i'll try it.. thank you :)

    sorry for my bad english

  • @darksavior08 stop apologizing for your english. its fine ;)

its not your fault english isnt your main language xD
