That is the typical result if you don't pre treat. I bet he pretreated the rotovac side but didn't pretreat the wand side. rotovacs are over rated. Now do a video of the new upholstery tool they make, you know the one that looks like a breast pump.

For portables they are great! For truckmounts they are not as good. I have a rotovac 360 tried it side by side on every kind of dirt imaginable for over a year. The machine required lots of maintenance and never produced any better results. Not as good to be honest and a whole lot slower for truckmounts. I have been cleaning carpet for 25 years and have experienced it all I think. As I said though the truckmount is different. It has enough power to get the job done. I have both,
