i got a question, is nightwish like a satanist group. Personally i like them but some of their songs revolve around dark rituals and in the amaranth music video, they were hunting down an angel. and have you ever noticed the fact that the soul is mentioned in nearly every song? they may just be death metal, idk. someone plz respond cause i want to know, r they death metal or satanists.

I dont think they are, no. In a lot of songs they question pre marrrital sex and stuff like that, but I think quite a bit, like any other artists, they are trying to relate to people. A lot of their songs are about mystical things also.

Here's the thing Bart, they are a a finnish symphonic metal band and as I see it the Amaranth music is illustrating the religious honor of the man and boy whilst the rest of the town sees the dead angel as a bad omen. Just my opinion. As for their personal religions I do not know.
