these things are fast for electric scooters, i got a x-500 and to weigh 15 stone and will easy get 20 mph. and mine was £225.00 ,as far as value for money its a great all rounder
Thanks for posting the video, looks cool and a good way to get about!. My legs are no good with arthritis so I am expecting delivery of this model later today. Only question, what happens if it starts to rain heavy outside while I am out?. The scooter is not water proof is it?. I would imagine the rain and water can get into the electric throttle controls and also seep into the battery and cause problems?, It rains almost all the time in Scotland and right now we have snow on the ground!.
sorry for the late reply... did you get one in the end? In Lanzarote where these vids were shot it didn't rain of course only now and then and at one point my controller/ecu popped when I was out on it. I'm not sure if the rain was a factor or it could have shorted through the throttle. The controller itself and all connectors are pretty good and insulated. You can always waterproof it a little better youself.
it's fast but not much in range or hill climbing. I do 20 mph and I'm 185 lbs. Will only go 9-10 miles on flat ground and that's being conservative on the throttle before the battery low light comes on. Will go uphill (15-20 deg) but only for a very short distance and then stall. Needs a larger rear sprocket for hills and maybe a better higher output controller.
Made, by okai scooters in far east. Branded in the US at x-treme but only upto 600w version, branded in europe as Mach1, x-800, raycool, whatever you like ;) all the same scooter :)
dude there slow and lame and look at them....the esr can do 30 easy in turbo mode...and also get better range than anyother scooter...sure man you can buy some cheap chineese scooter for 250 but how long will it last...gopeds are made in america and are the best quality out there!!! they are the best electric scooters ever
lol, how can you tell how fast it's going from the onboard? Why would go-ped quote figures on there own site that they only do 20mph? Plus that is with a 160lb (11 stone) perfect flat conditions etc. As for them being "made in america" I'm sure the frames are,but I'm also sure the parts will come from China, take the "flux capacitor throttle" I have these (whats left of them) on my electric scooters in my rental shop, these break so easily and are definately from china. flux capacitor indead!
Go-peds ONLY claim with this scooter being top is that it has the best range per charge to weight/ratio of any other scooter. Big deal, more weight more battery, more range.
Maybe given this you know something we all dont then?
some of which you just said is an opinion 'best quality' that is like saying a chevy is reliable, please prove your information before you share it with us.
dream on mate, go-peds are quoted by them as having a top speed of 20mph, and in the UK cost around 850pounds, this scooter with me on it weighing 15st was easily doing 25+, someone lighter 30mph no problem. This is also no fabrication of facts, I could just say buy one of these because there 230pounds not 850!
Waw ! Beautiful town ! Where do you come from please ?

@LouieTheGamer good quality! but the wind crackle is annoying.
You need to put a piece of foam over the microphone, but a good video all the same.
