So I found the song I was looking for. It's 'Awake and Alive' by Skillet on their Awake album. I think there was some bad information circling around, about the female vocalist on that song. I don't know who it is yet, but I know for a fact the radio said it was Amy Lee. Maybe that's where the confusion came from. No offense, Awake and Alive is better than this song. =/
