There are many Jews in Italy. My grandfather sheltered one, during WW2, from the nazis who were looking for him, to ship him to a concentration camp. The Italians did NOT like Mussolini, or Hitler, or the nazi ideology. The Italian Resistance was great help to the Allies, pushing the Nazis further and further up north in Italy, until we completely kicked them out of the country.

Theres nothing bizzare about being an Italian Jew. Jews have been living in Italy for over 2,000 years. Look up Primo Levi.
